Abstract: Objective to compare the restorative effects of crown lengthening surgery and gingivectomy on dowel crown of deep-seated subgingival teeth fracture.───摘要：目的比较牙冠延长术与牙龈切除术用于残根残冠桩冠修复中的疗效。
Conclusion: Both gingivectomy and prolongation of dental crown could shorten the depths of the gingival pocket. The clinical effect of the latter is better than that of the former.───结论：牙龈切除术与牙冠延长术应用于牙体劈裂达龈下较深部位患牙均能明显改善龈袋深度，而后者的临床疗效优于前者。

Abstract:Objective To compare the restorative effects of crown lengthening surgery and gingivectomy on dowel crown of deep-seated subgingival teeth fracture.
Methods :35out -patients were treated with gingivoplasty or gingivectomy according to their symptoms.
Conclusion: Both gingivectomy and prolongation of dental crown could shorten the depths of the gingival pocket. The clinical effect of the latter is better than that of the former.
